Favorite Exercise - It is hard to choose one exercise! Honestly, I have a love/hate relationship with all variations of wide second. I always feel the burn immediately and good form is incredibly challenging to hold onto. Otherwise, give me arabesque, high curl with the ball, and clam any day!!!

Favorite Exercise - There is something about arabesque that makes me feel like I‘m really working towards a dancer’s body...and I love the burn!

I love Bar Method for so many reasons-such as the amazing community, and the physical and mental challenge, but after numerous injuries from sports and running, I fell in love with The Bar Method’s intense low impact workout as a way to stay active, healthy, and toned.

Favorite Exercise - Push-ups and Diagonal Seat are this girl’s best friends! I love that push-ups in proper form work so many different muscle groups throughout your body at once. I can physically feel Diagonal Seat working and transforming my glutes and hamstrings during class and the best is still feeling the burn the next few days after!

I love the Bar Method because it is a unique and dynamic workout that not only strengthens your body, but your mind as well. Our attention to detail and safety of our Clients, all while providing a full body workout, is unlike any other gym/method in Chicago.

Favorite Exercise - It’s a hard tie between Pretzel and Arabesque! I love feeling that "zing" in the side of my seat and my lower back and obliques. Plus, I find both positions to be fun and feminine.

Bar Method is my release from the hustle and bustle of my every day life. It gives me an opportunity every class to challenge my mind and my body.

Favorite Exercise - Narrow V Thigh (deceptively simple!) Takes thigh work and makes it even more concentrated. Right away, I can feel how targeted the exercise is, and right after, how much control it takes to stay in the burn!

I love Bar Method because it keeps me centered. Your mind and body are constantly tuning into each other, having you stay present. It’s a welcome moment to focus on yourself, and by the end of class you’ve reset your day.

I never feel as though I can plateau in Bar Method. There is always a challenge option or an additional positioning tip that helps me push myself harder. I love how I can still see and feel results more than three years after I started taking class.

Favorite Exercise - Chair: I love the immediate intensity of the exercise, simultaneously strengthening my quads, back and shoulders. I really love the additional challenge of chair in relevé; it’s a great way to finish the exercise with physical and mental strength!

What‘s not to love? I love the physical changes I’ve seen, but I also really love the consistent challenges, meaningful relationships, mental strengths and continuous improvements that develop as a result of The Bar Method. I‘ve found that the things I learn and experience in my one hour of class translate directly to the other 23 in my day; it’s so much more than a workout!

Favorite exercise: My favorite exercise is Pretzel! It challenges right from the start and I feel the burn in my seat and obliques for days.

I love Bar Method because it continually grows with you. It is a personal practice with the support of a group atmosphere. You can always work to better your form and increase your intensity level. I find that the stronger I get, the harder classes become.
